I am Chelsea. I, like many of you out there, have struggled with body image and self acceptance. I was overweight my entire life and decided to change this out of self-loathing. And when the weight was lost, the loathing remained. After many years of self reflection - and overall tiredness of my own negativity, I began to make a shift. I changed my mindset; to love myself first, and to make all other changes in my life due to the love I have for myself, and the appreciation I have for my body. This isn't a journey with a definite end point, and there are many ups and downs along the way. But together, knowing we are not alone in these thoughts and struggles, I know we can get make it through.
