The Metal Spike is a machine block used for hitting NPCs. This block has no configurable settings. As can be guessed by its appearance, the Spike is a 'sharp' block, and does more damage to NPCs (soldiers, animals, etc.) on impact. However, it's not especially noticeable, and it snaps easily.
