This listing is for a Pearl (1st Generation - 1984) Free Floating 14x6.5” Brass Shell Snare Drum.  The lug posts are NOT first generation (they’ve been updated), but the rest of the drum is. 

This drum is built like a tank, and plays like a Stradivarius! Rim Shots deliver an overwhelming “crack”, while its sensitivity is very crisp.

For being 37 years old, The drum is in outstanding condition but does have some typical pitting around the hoops.  The bottom snare side hoop has applied snare guards to provide additional protection to the underside.
