Children's 2-10. Sunbonnet sized for Children and Adults The sewing pattern for this dress is just like big sister #201 Prairie Dress, but with a sweet pinafore that fits over the dress instead of an apron. It falls in gathers from a rounded yoke to ankle or low knee length and pinafore front are perfect for tucked, embroidered, smocked, or beaded embellishment. The ruffled collar is set into a collarband, and deep pockets are set into the side seam. The Pinafore, as seen in 1874 edition of Godey's Ladies Book, feature tucks in front and back, shoulder bands, and optional waistband casing. It may be worn over the Prairie Dress as an apron with ties in back, or closed in back over a sweater or blouse. Also included is a period Sunbonnet to protect tender faces. Strips of cardboard (removable for washing)
