Hi guys, long-time lurker here. I’ve been trying to model this silicone mouthpiece for a while. It’s an interesting challenge model-wise, but the texture utterly eludes me. Every time I get close it ends up looking nothing like silicone. From the reference image, I’m guessing I need to use a particular shader to get the edges to light up. I’m also struggling getting it to be translucent but ‘blurry’ as well. I’ve tried using IOR settings, but they seem strangely ineffective in this project. An
