The shawl is knit sideways on the bias in garter stitch with an i-cord selvedge. Triangular brioche elements arise along the centre line on alternating sides. A contrasting brioche border along one side adds a splash of colour. Sample was knit in the Shetland Fade Palette by La Bien Aimée featuring colourways Eshaness, Peerie Voe, Ayre and The Shire.
